   George Bowman welcome Peter Yeremko as a
   member of the Swan Lake Legion Branch 202

     On the 4th of January, we had the pleasure of initiating Peter Yeremko as a member into our Legion, welcome Peter enjoy the Comradeship that we offer at our Legion.

     A belated THANK YOU to Gerry Gregory and his Friends for sprucing up the Cenotaph in Lions Head last year for Canada 150, it looked very good!

     If you are interested in joining the Legion you will be more than welcome, come down to the Legion on a Monday or Thursday afternoon and you will see what it is like.

     We have started our lottery again for Handicap Accessibilty, the 1st prize is $1000.00 and the 2nd prize is $500.00, only 1500 tickets to be sold at $5.00 a piece, please paticipate it is important. Tickets are available from Don Coler (519-793-3473) or Fred or Jean Van Tooren (519-795-7823) or any other member who has tickets to sell.

     Congratulations to Kim White, our President, for throwing 180 in darts.

     A Golf tournament will be organized by Wayne, a Legion member, for late May or June depending on when the Golf course is available, further details will be available at a later date and will be posted on our Legion web page.

     Last but not least, look after your FLAG, if it does not look good – replace it!!
