Important Updates:

• Nominations and elections of the Legion Executive will be held at the next General Meeting on Thursday April 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.
• Do plan to attend. Let’s support the Lion’s Head Legion!
• If you have time to volunteer your services for a position please let a member know.
• We need you to attend and vote for the Executive members.
• Positions for nominations and elections are president, first vice-president, second vicepresident, secretary, treasurer and four positions on the Executive Committee.
• The Executive Committee will be appointed to committees needed to help run the Legion business.
• There are one executive and one general meeting held on the first Thursday of every month.
• We need many members to attend.
• Hope to see you on Thursday April 6, 2017.
• Ladies Auxiliary nominations and elections will take place on Aril 11, 2017.

The newly elected executives become effective on June 1, 2017.

• Installation of Officers for the Branch and the Ladies Auxiliary will take place on Tuesday May 16, 2017.
• Mark this date on your calendar.
• Social at 6:00 p.m., pot luck dinner at 7:00 p.m. and installations after dinner.

Upcoming Events:

• Dinner and Dance to support the Tobermory Legion – Saturday April 22, 2017 at the Tobermory Community Centre – tickets are $40.00 each – prime rib dinner and dance with live band
• Joint Branch and Ladies Executive Meeting - Tuesday April 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.
• All current executive members are encouraged to attend.

Recent Legion Donations:

• The Lion’s Head Legion will make donations of $500.00 to each of the District C Hospital Fund and the Ontario Command and Legion Branch and Ladies Auxiliary Charitable and the Bursary Funds at the District “C” Convention in Elmira held on April 8 and 9, 2017.
• President Kim White will attend on behalf of the Lion’s Head Legion and will be wearing a new title as Deputy Zone C-4 Commander. Congratulations, President Kim on your newly elected position for Zone C-4.
