The Legion Branch and Ladies Auxiliary held their joint Honours and Awards ceremony and potluck. Service pins were awarded including a 50 year pin for Bill Petter and 45 years for Ken Charlton for the Legion and 25 years for Lorraine Finn and Shirley Stinson for the Auxiliary. Congrats to all those being recognized for their service.
Join us at Remembrance Day parade and services at Monument Corners at 9:30 and then at the Lion’s Head Cenotaph at 11:00 a.m.

The Ladies Auxiliary Annual Bazaar will be held November 17th at 9:00a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Expect great baking, knitting, woodworking, crafts, sewing including 18" doll clothes, Christmas Treasures and of course the best soup and sandwich deal on the Peninsula.
The Ladies will again be serving many Christmas dinners and deserve a little break, so lets PARTY! The Ladies Christmas Party will be December 11th. Join us for pot luck, fun and games and Santa. Don't forget your food bank donation and gift exchange.
