The Lion’s Head Ladies Auxiliary is busy planning all the upcoming events for fall and Christmas. Our Annual Bazaar is scheduled for November 16th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with some vendor tables still available.
So far,there will be wood working and sewing including 18" dolls clothes, knitting and crocheting for your gift giving suggestions.
The Honours and Awards Dinner was held September 17th with many attending and witnessing Fred Van Tooren receive a Life Member Award from Dominion Comand for his outstanding commitment to the Lion’'s Head Legion.
Don Standen and Rev. Jawn Kolohon received their 50 year service pins. Congratulations to all those who received recognition for their service to the Legion and Ladies Auxiliary of Lion’s Head.
The Annual Area Ladies Christmas Party will be December 10th beginning at noon with Pot Luck. If you wish to attend contact any L.A. Member for your invitation.
We always have lots of fun with an optional gift exchange with the value of $15 to $20. The Candy Cane Draws are always exciting and we have a lot of laughs with the Penny Table Extravaganza.
Of course Santa always makes a visit for all the well behaved attending ladies.
We will be making Meat Pies October 30th. Get your orders in by the 22nd to Mo at 519‑793‑3506 or Jean at 519‑793‑3014. Pies are Turkey, Beef and Hamburger at $4.00 each. You can pick up your order at the hall between 2:30 & 4:00 p.m.
