    Our Honours and Awards pot luck dinner was held September 15th.

    We regret to announce the recent passing of two of out members. Donna Oke passed away on August 30th at the Golden Dawn Nursing Home. Donna was a long standing member of the Ladies Auxiliary and we will remember her fondly. On September 4th we also lost Ted Hammill, a member of the Legion. Our condolences go out to all the family and friends of Donna and Ted.

    Our Veterans Dinner will be held October 6th at Lion’s Head Legion Branch 202 (Swan Lake on Hwy #6). All veterans are welcome to come and bring a guest. Social Hour starts at 5:00 p.m. with Dinner to follow at 6:00 p.m. RSVP to Sue Halliday at 519-795-7533 or email hallinn@amtelecom.net.

    There is an interest an all day bus tour of the Bruce. Last I heard there were still six seats available. If interested in attending, please contact co-ordinator by Sharron Colter at 519-793-3473.
