  Zone Commander (far right) induct
  Branch 202 President Richard Smith.
Thursday May 5th 2022 the Branch, after almost three years due to Covid Restrictions, we were able to elect a full slate of Officers at the General Meeting.

The Branch were fortunate to have Kathryn Eastwood, Legion Zone C-4 Commander in attendance, to officiate the election of Officers.

The elected members are: - President Richard Smith, 1st Vice President Wayne Morningstar, 2nd Vice President Nancy Alleyne, Treasurer Karin Webb, and Secretary Sharron Colter.

Four Branch Executives included Christopher Mawdsley, Peter Dodge, Don Colter and Susan Uren.

President Richard Smith gave special thanks to George Bowman for his many years of service as Membership Executive Chairman.

May 26th was the beginning of summer activities with the commencement of Corn Hole. This will be held each Thursday at the Legion starting at 1.00 p.m. (except for the first Thursday each month, the time being allotted for Full Membership Meeting).

With seven new members being inducted at the General Meeting on June 2nd, our Legion will be planning further Fund raising activities to bolster Branch Funds to enable the ability to support local charitable needs.

One major project will be to enable the Branch to expand the parking lot, to remove the need for function visitors to park on the side of the extremely dangerous road side of Highway 6.

With the installation of a new wheel chair accessible wash room, coupled with the wheel Chair ramp, we are able to cover the needs of all members and visitors to our Branch.
