President Richard Smith was recognized for his volunteer work at the Lion’s Head Legion as president for 5 years, the Poppy Campaign Chair for 12 years and the Honours and Awards Chair for 14 years. He was recognized by the Northern Bruce Peninsula Council and the Northern Bruce Peninsula Community Support Advisory Action Committee (NBPCSAAC) on 17 April 2024. Thank you, President Richard Smith for your dedication to the Lion’s Head Legion and its Veterans and community.

Wayne Morningstar, Sports Officer for the Legion has announced that Darts will end on Monday, 29 April. Stay tuned for the start-up of Corn Hole later in May.
The Legion hall continues to be open Monday morning for coffee and chat with the Bruce Men’s Shed. The Old School House Seniors meet on the first Tuesday for a meeting and a lunch. On the last Tuesday of the month they meet for dinner. Contact membership chair, Pat Howes at
