Enjoy the beginning of summer. Ontario Command recently announced that the 1200th homeless veteran has been placed into an apartment with all of the needed furniture and household items with the funds from the “Leave the Streets Behind Program” which is funded through the Poppy Campaign Funds and other donations. Volunteer assistance ensures that the veteran’s move is comfortable. Legions do make a difference.
