At this time of year the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 202 plans for the voting and installation of next year’s executive. In the next couple of months we will nominate a President, two Vice Presidents, a Secretary, and Treasurer. There will be others are elected or appointed to the Executive as chairs of the Poppy Committee, the Bar Committee, Sports, Lottery, Veterans’ Affairs, Honours and Awards, Chaplin, Youth Education, Seniors, Historian and Public Relations. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 202 also looks to its members to cut our grass, clean snow from the steps and help move furniture and serve at our dinners. If you are a member of our Legion, please consider how you can help us. We would love to have you volunteer even once a year. Our next meeting is on the first Thursday of April at 2 p.m.
