Special Reception
To Honour Eight Second World War Veterans
at the Lion’s Head Legion
on Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Larry Miller M.P. will present a special edition Lapel Pin and a Certificate of Recognition to the following Second World War Veterans in Lion’s Head and Area: Alf Myers, Alfred Savage, John Knowles, Ken Deibel, Allen Campbell, Mervin Kaizer, Frances Warder and Bill Colter.
We will thank the veterans for their service and sacrifice during the Second World War.
Come and join us at the Legion to honour these amazing veterans.

The Ladies Auxiliary will serve a light lunch after the presentations.

Irene Surridge, Ladies Auxiliary Zone C-4 Commander and her husband, Lawrence
are celebrating their 60th Anniversary.
They are also celebrating a 75th and 80th birthday.
Join them at the Owen Sound Legion on Saturday May 23, 2015 at 7:00 p.m.
There will be a dance after 9:00 p.m.

Upcoming Joint Yard Sale at the Legion
Remember to keep items for the Joint Yard Sale at the Legion on Saturday, June 20, 2015. No appliances, computers, mattresses or large furniture unless the items are new or nearly new. Volunteers needed to assist with the yard sale.
