Branch Yard Sale – Saturday June 24th – Set up Friday June 23rd at the Legion. The Legion cannot accept appliances or mattresses or old retired items for this yard sale unless they are brand new. Drop your items off at the Legion on June 23rd from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. or phone President Kim White at 519-534-5696 to make arrangements for pick up.

The articles for the Yard Sale MUST BE NEW OR NEARLY NEW.

The Yard Sale will start at 8:00 a.m. and finish at 1:00 p.m.

Annual Country Roast Beef Dinner: Wednesday July 5th, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Convenor needed.

Annual Legion Fish Fry: Wednesday August 2, 2017, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Phone Convenor Rick Nolk at 519-793-3860. Sign-up sheets are available at the Legion for volunteers to help at these dinners.

Friday Night Euchre – 7:30 p.m., $3.00 per person, includes light lunch. No Euchre or Bridge on June 23rd as it is set up for the Yard Sale at 1:00 p.m. Euchre ends on June 30th until September.

Plan to volunteer to help and/or attend these events to support your Legion. Invite a friend or family member to join the Legion. New members welcomed.

Building Accessibility Committee Meeting: Wednesday May 24th at 10:00 a.m. Plan to attend if you want to suggest ideas for renovating and making the Legion building accessible for all.

Ladies Auxiliary Sport Fun Night – Thursday June 15th at 7:00 p.m., euchre, cribbage and games night – light refreshments served.

Seniors Bus Tripping to Owen Sound: Call Sharron Colter at 519-793-3473 if you want to participate in a bus trip to Billy Bishop Museum, the Tom Thompson Art Gallery and the Owen Sound Legion for a speaker and dinner on Tuesday August 29, 2017. Bus leaves the Friendship Club at 9:30 a.m.
